01

How does a today cash request work?

A today cash request is one short online form that we pass to lenders in our network. Lenders review it, decide on their own, and contact you if they can make an offer you are free to accept or ignore.

Are you the company that lends me the money?

No. We run a free connector service, so we never make credit decisions, set rates or send loan funds. Every offer, contract and deposit comes from the lender you choose, and that lender is the one you repay.

What happens in the first minutes after I press submit?

Your details travel over an encrypted connection to lenders in the network whose criteria fit your request. A lender that can help usually shows an offer on screen or sends you to its own site to review terms. If nobody matches, you see a message saying so instead of a loan offer.

How many lenders look at one request?

We work with a network that lets us compare up to 12 lenders for a request, though the number that actually reviews yours depends on your state, the amount and your profile. You may hear from one lender or a few, and occasionally from none.

Do I have to accept an offer once I see it?

No. Seeing an offer creates no obligation, and you can close the page without signing anything. A personal loan only exists once you accept the lender's agreement, usually with an electronic signature on the lender's own site.

How does your service earn money if the form is free?

Lenders and partners in the network may pay us when they receive a today cash request or when a personal loan is funded. That payment never comes out of your loan amount, and our advertiser disclosure explains how these relationships can affect which offers appear.

Where can I see the whole process step by step?

Our how it works page walks through each stage, from the request form to the lender's decision and the final deposit. It also shows where we stop and the lender takes over.

02

Will sending a request affect my credit score?

Submitting the request form typically leads to a soft inquiry, which does not change your credit score. A hard inquiry, which can lower a score by a few points, usually happens only if you accept an offer and continue with a lender.

What is the difference between a soft inquiry and a hard inquiry?

A soft inquiry lets a lender look at a summary of your credit file without affecting your score, and other lenders cannot see it. A hard inquiry is a full credit pull for a formal application; it appears on your report and can lower the score slightly for a while. Some scoring models treat several hard inquiries for the same kind of loan within a short window as a single event, but personal loans are not always grouped that way, so avoid applying everywhere at once.

Which type of inquiry should I expect at each stage?

When you first submit a today cash request, many lenders in the network use a soft inquiry to decide whether to show you an offer. If you pick an offer and move to final approval, the lender will usually run a hard inquiry before funding. The lender's own disclosure tells you which check it uses, so read it before you click accept.

Can lenders still consider me with fair or lower credit?

Yes, some lenders in the network review personal loan applicants across a wide credit range, but a lower score usually means a higher APR. As a rough guide, scores of 630 to 689 often see about 18% to 30%, while scores below 630 often see about 25% to 35.99%. Our rates page shows every tier.

Why would a lender ask about my credit history after I submit?

A lender may need to confirm details that a quick review could not settle, such as a recent address change or a thin credit file. Answering promptly keeps the review moving. A legitimate lender should never ask you to pay a fee before it explains the personal loan terms.

Will lenders I never chose see my request on my credit report?

Soft inquiries are visible only to you when you pull your own report, so other lenders and landlords do not see them. Only the hard inquiry from a lender you decide to continue with shows up for everyone who reviews your file later.

03

How fast can I get cash today after a decision?

After a lender approves you and you sign, the money usually travels by direct deposit and often posts the next business day, occasionally the same day. Reaching that decision commonly takes only minutes once the request is complete, though each lender and bank works on its own schedule.

How long does the request form take to fill in?

Most people finish in about five minutes when they have their income and bank details handy. You can check what lenders typically look for on our eligibility page before you start, which saves going back to fix answers.

If I need cash today, what time should I submit?

Earlier in a business day usually helps, because many banks process incoming deposits in batches and lenders may stop same-day funding after a set cutoff. A today cash request finished late on a Friday or before a bank holiday will often fund on the next business day instead.

Why might my deposit arrive later than the offer suggested?

Common reasons include extra identity or income checks, a bank that holds incoming transfers, a signature that was not completed, or a weekend in between. The lender's confirmation email normally states the expected deposit date, so keep it until the money arrives.

Is there anything I can do to avoid delays?

Use the same name and address that appear on your bank account and ID when you send a request for personal loans, enter your income exactly as it shows on your pay stub, and answer any lender message quickly. Uploading clear photos of requested documents the first time saves a round of back and forth.

What happens if no lender makes me an offer?

You will see a message that no match was found, and nothing further happens to your credit file. You can review what lenders look for, consider a smaller amount, or look at alternatives such as a payment plan with the company you owe.

04

How does repayment on personal loans from the network work?

Most personal loans offered through the network are repaid in fixed monthly installments over 6 to 36 months, paid directly to the lender. Some lenders offer up to 60 months on larger amounts.

Who do I send my monthly payment to?

You pay the lender named in your personal loan agreement, never us. Most lenders set up automatic payments from the bank account that received the deposit, and many also accept manual payments through their website or app.

Will my payment amount change from month to month?

Installment personal loans usually carry a fixed rate, so the payment stays the same for the full term. For example, a $1,000 loan over 18 months at an estimated 27.99% APR comes to about $68.67 a month; your own figure depends on the offer you accept.

Can I repay the loan early to save on interest?

Many lenders allow early payoff of personal loans, and because interest is charged on the remaining balance, paying sooner usually lowers your total cost. Check the agreement for any prepayment fee before you sign, and ask the lender for an exact payoff amount on the day you plan to pay.

What should I do if I think I will miss a payment?

Contact the lender before the due date, since many have hardship options or can move the date. A missed payment can bring a late fee under the agreement and may be reported to the credit bureaus once it is 30 days past due.

Can I choose my due date?

Some lenders let you pick or change the due date so it lines up with the day your pay arrives. Ask during the offer review or soon after funding, since changes are easier before the first personal loan payment is scheduled.

05

Is the request form available in my state?

The form is open to residents across the United States, but which lenders can review a request depends on state licensing and lending laws. Rates, terms and available amounts can differ from one state to another.

Why do offers look different in different states?

States set their own rules on interest caps, loan sizes and lender licensing. A lender may be licensed in some states and not others, so the group of lenders able to review a today cash request in Ohio can differ from the group in Arizona.

What is the minimum age to send a request?

You need to be at least 18 in most states, and 19 in Alabama and Nebraska. Lenders also ask for a valid ID, a US address, a checking account in your name and a regular source of income.

I am moving to another state soon. Which address should I use?

Use your current legal address, the one that matches your ID and bank records. If you move during the loan, tell the lender so statements and any state-specific notices reach you.

Can I send a request if I live outside the US or in a US territory?

The form is built for US residents, and lenders in the network generally require a US address in a state where they hold a license. Coverage of territories varies by lender, so a request from one may not find a match.

06

What fees come with today cash offers?

Our service costs you nothing. The cost of any loan is set by the lender and shown as an APR, which includes interest and certain fees, typically about 8% to 35.99% for loans in this range.

Do you charge anything for using the form?

No. There is no fee to submit a request, compare personal loan offers or decline them. If anyone claiming to be us asks for an upfront payment, gift card or wire transfer, stop and report it to us.

What does APR include and why should I compare it?

APR combines the interest rate with certain lender fees into one yearly percentage, so it is the best single number for comparing offers of the same length. Our glossary explains APR and other loan terms in plain language.

Can a lender take an origination fee out of my loan?

Some lenders charge an origination fee on personal loans and subtract it from the amount they deposit, so you receive a little less than you borrowed. The loan disclosure shows both the amount financed and the deposit amount; compare them before signing.

What would a typical loan cost in dollars?

As a representative example, borrowing $1,000 for 18 months at 27.99% APR means payments of about $68.67 a month, a total of $1,236.06 and $236.06 in interest. You can test other amounts in our personal loan calculator.

Are there fees if I pay late or a payment bounces?

Lenders can charge late fees and returned-payment fees, and the amounts are listed in the agreement. These charges vary by lender and state, so read that section closely if your income dates are irregular.

07

How is the information in my request protected?

Your request is sent over an encrypted connection and shared only with lenders and service providers involved in handling it, as described in our privacy policy. You can ask us about your data at any time.

Who can see the details I enter?

Lenders in the network that review your request, plus service providers that help us run the form, such as hosting and fraud-prevention tools. Our privacy policy lists the categories of recipients and why each one receives data.

Why does the form ask for my Social Security number and bank details?

Lenders use your SSN to confirm your identity and check your credit file before they can show today cash offers, and they need bank details to deposit funds and set up payments. Without them a lender cannot review a request for a personal loan.

Can I ask you to delete my information?

Yes. Email us with the name and email address you used, and we will handle the request under the privacy policy and the law in your state. Lenders that already received your request keep their own records, so contact them directly as well.

How do I stop texts or emails after I submit?

Reply STOP to any text message or use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of an email. If messages continue, email us and we will help you find which partner is sending them.

08

How can I reach your team with a question?

Call (888) 865-2332 or use the email address on our contact page, and we will help with anything about the request form, your data or the network. Questions about a specific loan go to the lender named on your agreement.

What is your mailing address?

You can write to us at 8217 Magnolia Boulevard, Suite 593, Montpelier, VT 05602. Email is usually faster, and our contact page lists our support address and every other way to reach us.

Which questions should go to the lender instead of you?

Anything about your personal loan balance, payment dates, payoff amount, hardship options or a deposit that has not arrived belongs with the lender. We do not hold your loan account, so the lender can answer these much faster.

What should I do if someone contacts me pretending to be you?

Do not share codes, passwords or payment details. We never ask for a fee to release a loan, so forward the message to our email address and we will look into it.

Where do I start if I am ready to compare offers?

Go to the request form and fill in the short set of questions. If you need cash today, have your ID, bank details and recent income figures ready before you begin.
