This policy explains what information our loan request service collects, why we collect it, who receives it, and the choices you have.

01

Who this policy covers

Our privacy policy applies to the information you provide on our website, including the loan request form, and to information collected automatically when you browse our pages or contact our team.

We operate a free connector service. We are not a lender, and we pass loan requests to lenders and lending networks that participate in our network. Once a lender receives your information, its own privacy policy and the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act notices it provides govern how that lender uses it. We encourage you to read each lender's policy before you accept an offer.

Browsing these pages or sending the loan request form means you accept how this policy says we collect and share information. Anyone who does not accept those practices should leave the form unsubmitted.

03

How we use your information

We use your information mainly to pass your loan request to lenders in our network so they can decide whether to make an offer, and to operate, secure and improve our site.

  • Submitting your request to lenders and lending networks that may be able to help.
  • Confirming that your contact details are formatted correctly and detecting fraudulent or duplicate requests.
  • Responding to questions you send our team.
  • Sending service messages about your request and, where you agreed, marketing messages you can opt out of at any time.
  • Measuring how pages perform so we can fix errors and improve our guides.
  • Meeting legal obligations, enforcing our terms of use and protecting the rights and safety of our users.
04

How we share your information

We share request information with lenders and lending networks in our network, and with service providers that help us run the site. We do not sell your information to data brokers for unrelated marketing.

  • Lenders and lending networks: to evaluate your request, run credit inquiries, present offers and, if you accept, originate and service a loan. A network partner may forward your request to further lenders that participate in it.
  • Service providers: hosting, form processing, fraud prevention, analytics, email and telephone vendors that act on our instructions and may use the data only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect against fraud and abuse.
  • Business transfers: if our business is merged, acquired or sold, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

Lenders may contact you by phone, text or email using the details and consent you provided. You can ask any lender to stop contacting you. How we are paid by these partners is explained in our advertiser and lending disclosure.

05

Cookies and similar technologies

Our site uses cookies, pixels and similar tools to keep the form working, remember your progress, measure traffic and understand which pages and partners lead to completed requests.

Some cookies are set by analytics and advertising partners, which may collect information about your activity across other websites over time. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the request form may not work without them. Where supported, your browser's Global Privacy Control signal is treated as a request to opt out of sharing for targeted advertising.

06

Your choices

You can choose not to submit the form, unsubscribe from marketing emails, reply STOP to text messages, adjust cookies in your browser, and ask us to stop sharing or to delete your information.

Opting out of our marketing does not stop lenders that already received your request from contacting you; please make that request to each lender directly. Information a lender has already received is held under that lender's own policy and record-keeping obligations.

07

Security and data retention

We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls and vendor safeguards, and we keep it only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy or as required by law.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. We will never ask for your Social Security number, bank login or a payment by email or phone. If you receive a request like that in our name, do not respond, and tell us through our contact page.

08

Children and state privacy rights

Our service is intended only for adults, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Residents of some states also have specific privacy rights described below.

If we learn that we received information from a minor, we will delete it. Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to access or receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale, its sharing for targeted advertising or certain profiling. Some information collected for loan purposes is covered instead by federal financial privacy law and may be exempt from these state rights.

To exercise a right, contact us by email or by phone at (888) 865-2332. We will confirm your identity before acting, respond within the time frame your state law sets, and will not treat you differently for using your rights. You may use an authorized agent where your state allows it, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response.

09
